Schola Empirica is open for students’ internships

Schola Empirica is a partner organization in Traineeship Mobility for Students funded by the Erasmus plus programme of European Commission.

Interns support researchers with background research and administrative tasks. Interns must have a profound interest in a particular area of policy research. “My experience at SCHOLA EMPIRICA was nothing short of amazing. I was worried (as all interns usually are) that I would be stuck with heaps of repetitive office work and would learn very little, especially because my internship was a rather short one. None of my worries materialized as in one month I created databases, gathered contacts, communicated with students, read and provided feedback on documents, did PR work, and the little “boring office work” I had to do did not even seem boring amidst all that those activities. I don’t think I ever learned so much in a month in my life.”

Šimon Vydra, Amsterdam University College

SCHOLA EMPIRICA offered by far the best work environment that I ever experienced with people dedicated to what they do and who refuse to limit their ambition by the modest size of their office or by the amount of staff. As many social science students, I was questioning whether I made the right career choice and whether there is a place for people who are willing to put their best foot forward and try their hardest to make the change they believe needs to be made in today’s policy making. I don’t anymore, and I have SCHOLA EMPIRICA to thank for that.

Karolina Povilaityte, Vytautas Magnus University

“Thanks to SCHOLA EMPIRICA, I could travel, gain experience, see the country with tradition and cultural habits in which children are educated. I have not only gained experience but also a lot of energy and ideas for the coming days. I am happy to be able to bring everything into practice and to contribute to the education of healthy self-confident children.”
