The project aims at the systematic and long-term development of essential skills of students in VET in Czechia using the complex Skills Builder Universal Framework (SB UF), which was developed in the UK and is used across the globe.

Skills Builder methodology is one of the evidence-informed ways to develop soft skills of primary school students. That is why we decided to transfer the methodology to Czech primary schools and pilot it in the project

Introduction and validation of a methodology for the development of socio-emotional skills in kindergartens and primary schools

We are part of the Skills Builder Partnership – we provide support to schools involved in the pilot project, including:

  • initial training led by a foreign mentor
  • regular consultations with a foreign mentor, methodologist and project guarantor
  • regular meetings of teachers involved in the project for the purpose of mutual collegial support
  • visits to pilot schools to observe teaching
  • feedback on teacher-led portfolios
  • printed materials for the methodology in Czech Language
